2nd Grade - Stellaluna

This week the second grade made artwork that is inspired by the book Stellaluna by Janell Cannon.

The students learned about bats, symmetry, and the story of Stellaluna.

First the students glued the moons on the top corner of the page and painted branches.

 

Then they drew one half of a bat on a folded strip of paper.

 

Next they cut it out, opened the bat up and glued it onto the page.
