3rd Grade - Pumpkin Patch Perspective!!!

The 3rd grade made some AWESOME artwork this week!
The learned about shading, value and perspective!

First they glued a blue strip to the top of their paper then cut out orange circles for pumpkins.

Then they glued them to the paper placing the bigger shapes in the foreground and the smaller ones in the background.


Then added some texture, shading, and cast shadows to make is look more realistic.



Next, by only using a touch of white paint we gave the pumpkins a little shine.



Lastly we used the back of our paint brush to make stars in the sky.
